??????.
I cannot believe I recently celebrated my oldest son’s 11th birthday. How is that possible?
“G, I so wish I could go back and relive those first moments with you, loving on you for the very first time. You are the one that made me a mom first.
As you go into your 11th year, these are the things that I want you to remember…
First and foremost, never forget that God ????? ???.He has something amazing in store for your life and I can’t wait to watch it unfold.
I also want to encourage you to never give up.
To go after your dreams no matter how hard they might seem or how much work you might have to put into them. Nothing worth having comes easy.
Work for what you want and you will go far.
Stay committed to what you want in life. Not only to the things that you want, but also to your family and those that mean the most to you.
So often people quit. They give up. They let go of so many things that matter the most because it got hard. Always remember that the Lord teaches us the ???? in the moments when we struggle. I once heard “??? ???? ????? ??? ???? ?? ??? ????? ???? ??? ?????.” That means the best things you will ever experience will come with struggles.
Work for them.
Always have the courage to ???. To go out into this world and to be BOLD. Be bold for the Lord, be BOLD to stand up for truth and righteousness. Be BOLD to try new things even if you might fail. You will never know what you’re missing if you don’t try.
Just like that one moment when you almost counted yourself out from trying out for the baseball team …. If you hadn’t tried you would be missing out on so much and I am so thankful you you don’t have to! So many memories have been made and I thank the Lord that He has blessed you with such amazing friends and a team to be apart of.
There will be loses and there will be wins. You can’t become great without failing. Keep doing what’s right, shine for the Lord, love on others and do your best in all that you decide to do!
I know I say this every birthday but I truly believe the Lord has created you to do amazing things one day. I love you and so much more my son. – mom”
