The Thing About Commitment & Your Mindset

I signed up in my business with one foot in and one foot out. I hadn’t fully committed. I was holding myself back due to what others thought and if I’m being honest, the negative comments that were being whispered in my ear. ?

???? ?? ? ??? ????????.
???’?? ?????? ??.

I let those words effect me and for months I sat on this opportunity. ?

? ??????.
? ?????????.

I realized that I was indeed scared. So I waited. And I talked. And I waited. And I prayed. And I talked.

Months went by as I went through all the scenarios. The pros and cons. The various outcomes. The possibility of failure. The possibility of waisting $300 bucks. ????????? ??? ? ????. ??‍♀️  It was like I was prepping for the biggest decision of my entire life. If only I could go back and whisper in my own ear, ???. ??. ????????. ?????.

It was just shampoo and an opportunity to try something. That’s it.

???? ????.

???? ??????.

The only thing I was truly risking was my pride and the possibility of failure.

If I hadn’t made that rash decision one night to just say screw it (pardon my language) and hit that button, my life wouldn’t be where it is today and THAT blows my mind.

The day I changed my mindset and made a commitment, my business took off. I told myself I would work has hard as I could and make temporary sacrifices for long term reward. I wanted to be able to tell myself a year into this business that I had done everything I possibly could to become successful.

Why do I share this? Because if you want to be successful at anything in life (marriage, friendship, business) you have to make a commitment.

  • Everyone gets training, but not everyone takes action.
  • Everyone gets knocked down, but not everyone gets back up.
  • Everyone gets burned out/exhausted, but not everyone refuels.
  • Everyone desires to quit, but not everyone does.
  • Everyone gets a chance, but not everyone takes it.
  • Everyone gets today, but not everyone maximizes it.

Don’t be like everyone.
?????? and you will succeed.

Moral of the story? Sometimes you just need to stop over thinking all of the things in your head and just go. for. it. You won’t see everything right away. All you have to do is close your eyes and jump all in.

The Art Of Pivoting In Your Journey

I had finally made the decision that my future was going to be in Real Estate. Such a stretch from my current shampoo gig right?

I dove in and took the online course. I remember walking into that big conference room like it was yesterday. My nerves took over and ultimately I ended up failing.

I could have called it quits but I still had high hopes so I studied some more, took the test again and eventually passed. With dreams of success driving me forward I decided to take on the next set of online courses to obtain my brokers license.

You might be thinking, “??? ??? ???? ? ?????” The answer is no. I skipped that step and went straight to purchasing the course to becoming a broker. ??‍♀️ Even typing this has me shaking my head. It reminds me of the “instant success” so many want and preach these days.

I wanted the end result without putting in my time and paying my dues first. Isn’t that what so many of us want these days? — to be at the top without making the climb.

In that moment all I could think about was becoming the next big real estate developer. The only thing is, I never sold a home — ever. Not once.

I might not have become the Real Estate Mogul I once envisioned myself to be, but what I did become was determined.

  • Determined to find a way.
  • Determined to figure it out.
  • Determined to succeed in creating my dream life one way or another.

I now see that all of my past “business ventures” were the stepping stones that would eventually set me up for the success that I have today. Real Estate was part of my path and it was in those moments thirteen years ago that I learned that failure is inevitable. It’s what you choose to do about it once you fall.

“This is your life, and it’s been waiting for you to discover it.”

Get up, get going and soak in the journey. It’s the only true way to get to your final destination.

Recently, a group of us hosted an event in our area and let me just say, it was incredible. It felt amazing getting back out there. The energy and vibrations going through that room were high and it was exactly what we all needed after a year of not being able to do this. ??

As we discussed what we wanted the theme to be, the word YOU came up. Here’s what it means to me and the message I want to share with you …

You might feel unworthy of your dreams.
You might feel undeserving of your prayers being answered.
Do you feel inadequate?
Do you feel alone?
Maybe you feel shy or incapable?
Maybe you are embarrassed of failing?
Do you fear rejection?

Today and every day remember this, ??? are worthy of your dreams, you are deserving, you have what it takes, you are strong, you are capable, you are bold, you are ??? and that is enough. ?

To ??? who’s not feeling like you’re enough today. Remember everything you feel isn’t true and everything you feel isn’t you. ??? are enough just as yourself. Don’t accept anything less.

Each one of us has a story. A beautiful, unique story. And the world needs to hear it, from you. 

The amazing women I get to work alongside each have their own story to tell. Many of them have  overcome obstacles, some have broken the 9 to 5 mold and all they have pushed for bigger dreams. They are from all different backgrounds with different personalities, yet have formed their own way to success.

Let Me Introduce Myself

I thought it might be time to re-introduce myself since I have connected with so many new people. ?

First, thanks for being here! I love hearing when you find me on my little corner of the internet.

Next… hi there! ??  Most of you know me as Britty Rose. I am a mama to four kiddos — Grayson, Cosette, Preston and Beckham Gray. I am married to the boy that I fell in love with at just fourteen years old.

I have to admit, we have created a good life for ourselves. A simple life. We live on a quiet little cul-de-sac and I homeschool … HA! who am I kidding?

Our life is crazy, loud, spontaneous and we are definitely NOT the traditional family. My husband cooks (because let’s face it, firemen are way better at cooking). I clean, we tag team life, homeschool our kids, travel the world and literally just try our best to love on our family the best that we can.

A few years ago I went from a stay-at-home mom to a work-at-home mom and it’s been one of the best things I have ever done. With the help from my family, I have been able to work hard and grow one of the fastest teams in Southern California in my specific business venture. It still feels crazy saying that. ?

Our team is on fire and has far surpassed anything that I had ever hoped to be a part of. They are seriously some of the most amazing, encouraging supportive people I have ever surrounded myself with.

The one thing I always tell people when they ask me why I love this “shampoo gig” so much is the unexpected blessings. The friendships, the excitement when our team promotes, the encouragement, the satisfaction of setting and hitting goals — the wave that we ALL have created. ??

The fact that I have gotten to where I am today is unbelievable and I am so incredibly thankful. My prayers were answered and the Lord is working wonders in so many lives! We #believed, stepped out in #faith and are changing our families lives one day at a time — and THAT is why I am so proud to be a part of this shampoo gig.

When I say that my family’s life is forever changed, I mean it. My prayer since the beginning was to bring my husband home a little more and allow him to truly LIVE life with us, not from afar. That’s all I really want. To be with my family. Can you relate?

So often we hear people talk about the blessings of time freedom, flexibility, and financial freedom when it comes to working a job through direct sales, but sadly, the majority of people blow off the opportunity and don’t give it a second thought.

Why? Is it not possible? Too hard? Fear?

Well friends, with a joyous and humble heart, I can tell you that it has CHANGED my life. ??  OUR lives. I don’t know where we would be if I didn’t face my fears, if I had blown off this opportunity, or if I hadn’t said YES. What I do know is that my life would be nothing like it is today. ?

The 3 Biggest Blessings Of My Business

Three of the biggest blessings that have come from my business are these:

  • Time freedom
  • The ability to travel through earned incentive trips
  • The means to say ‘yes’ to new experiences with my family

In June 2019, it really dawned on me that these three things are truly life changing. And they’re all a luxury my family did not always have.

It was a few days before some of my teammates and closest friends were heading to the Bahamas for a trip they had earned with MONAT. I had earned the same trip myself, but I wasn’t able to go because I was about to have my youngest son.

As I was sitting there thinking about how bummed I was to be missing such a fun trip, it sank in. The only reason I was missing that trip was only because I was about to have a baby. ??

  • It wasn’t because we couldn’t afford it (the company was paying for it all).
  • And, it wasn’t because we couldn’t get the time off of work. (Through this business we have gained TIME).

Statistics show that there are two things that hold people back from pursuing their dreams. TIME + MONEY.

With the opportunity I have through my business, you’re able to achieve both. Isn’t that amazing? To think about the doors that have been opened — the time freedom, the flexibility, the ability to travel and create memories. When I truly think about what this business has done and allowed me to do, it hits me like a ton of bricks.

THIS. IS. REAL.

This is for anyone who wants it. I wanted it and look where it’s taken me?

Here’s the kicker. It can take YOU too. You just have to want it. ?

Yes, it’s hard work.
Yes, it takes effort.
But seriously, how much better could it get than this? This job is unlike anything I’ve ever been a part of.

Are you looking for something different? I know I was all those years ago. Just so incredibly thankful I looked into a business like this and decided to say yes.

What Are The Desires Of Your Heart?

I remember there was a time not too long ago where I would ache to have my husband home more. I was drowning in the daily tasks of motherhood, all while doing it alone.

  • Dinners without their daddy.
  • Going to sleep without my husband.
  • Weekends spent alone.

I remember thinking “if only I could do something to help bring in some extra income, ???? my husband could be home more.”

? Time freedom.
? Flexibility.
? Financial freedom.

You hear these phrases being shared all throughout this platform.

? You hear them.
? You know them.
But do you believe them?

Do you believe with your whole heart that you can live the life you desire?
Do you allow yourself to dream and visualize what your life could look like? Or do you self-sabotage your dreams?
Belief in yourself is more powerful than you might realize.

I believed in this business before I even had one market partner join me. I believed the opportunity was real.

Four years later here I am living my dream life helping others live their dream life too.

The other night my husband looked at me as I was sitting on the couch and casually said “what if this was my last year at the department?” I stared at him overwhelmed.

  • How did this become our life?
  • Why are we so blessed?
  • How is this even an option?

I don’t have all the answers to these questions but what I ?? know is that the Lord has had His hand on this company since day one and He has His hands on you too.

What are the desires of your heart?

? Maybe it’s to bring your husband home like it was for me.
? Maybe it’s to quit your job and stay home with your kids.
? Maybe it’s to pay off your debt.
? Maybe it’s to buy your dream home.

I don’t know your dreams but what I ?? know is that you don’t have to be asleep to experience them. You can live out your dreams right now. So, will you?

Believe me, no one starts out knowing everything.
No one starts out with a big following.
No one starts out making 6 figures.
But if you’re willing to learn, the opportunity is there for the taking.

Start small, work hard and see what happens. It’s the only way you’ll ever find out. ✨

Money Comes & Goes But People Last Forever

This is the phrase that stands out when I think about the other week in Vegas. Let me explain.

We truly did hit the jackpot with this opportunity and the financial freedom that it can bring to those that want it.

It is REAL and it is incredible. Monat has changed so much for so many and that is something I will never downplay.

For me, I love Monat for more than just the money. The people that Monat has brought into my life — ???? is the true jackpot.

The people, my team, the lifelong friendships that I have made through this … there is no price tag for it.

Truth is, It can’t be bought but it ??? ?? ???????. All you have to do is say yes and open your heart to what this business can do for you. If you allow it, the blessings will come.

The people are what continue to make the biggest impact on me and for that I am so grateful.

Reflecting On My Time In Las Vegas

Recently, I earned a free trip to Las Vegas courtesy of the beauty company I’ve partnered with. Afterwards, I sat down to reflect on my time spent in Vegas. Here are my thoughts.

These last few days were so beyond incredible, so much so that I need to take some time to sit and get my thoughts together in order to express it properly. I’m not sure if I’ll ever truly be able to convey what’s in my heart but soon I will try.

For now, one thing I ??? say is just how much Gods hand is in this company. He is so strongly intertwined in so many aspects of this business. That in itself has my heart overwhelmed. ???

During our trip to Vegas, we went out into the desert to take some content pictures (there are some really funny stories but I’ll save those for another post.)

As I sat on the street in the middle of nowhere, I looked out at this stunning landscape and was reminded of just how much the Lord loves us.

The detail, the formations, the perfection, the colors — it was by no accident.

He did that for us.

He could have made everything grey and dull, lifeless, flavorless and with no color but He didn’t — and it’s because He ????? us.

If you are feeling lost, if you are wondering why you’re here, if you’re asking yourself if there is “something more,” know that you are not alone and you we’re definitely made for more.

There is so much more.

You were created by a God that loves you more than you might even know or truly understand.

You are His masterpiece “?? ??? ??????? ?? ???? ?? ?????? ?????, ?? ?? ??? ?? ??? ???? ?????? ?? ??????? ??? ?? ???? ???.＂

Nothing this beautiful happened by accident. It was designed and created on purpose for a purpose — and that includes you my friend.

We Rise Together

The truth is, I don’t brag on my friend Connie nearly enough. So today I am going to tell you about her.

She has been by my side in my business from day one. We have made countless memories over these last four years and have truly experienced some of the most amazing life altering moments.

Everything from starting at the bottom and working our way to the top, hitting huge goals, traveling the world, sitting in full day workshops, training, growing, leading, laughing, crying — it’s all been done with her by my side.

I am forever thankful that she saw the vision and said yes to this business because I wouldn’t be where I am without her.

That’s the beauty of this whole shampoo gig — we can only rise when we rise TOGETHER. To think of what our lives would be like if we hadn’t said yes. ?

In the beginning of our business we flew everywhere together. I’m talking EVERYWHERE. Our first trip was August of 2017 and now here we are, years later and still doing what we love and having the time of our lives doing it.

Insanely overwhelmed and proud of this woman and her fierce determination to rise. Last month she was formally inducted into the Million Dollar Club with Monat. ??

To think that just four short years ago we linked arms and now here she is, an MDC Member. ⚡️

What does that mean exactly? It means that she has earned over one million dollars in commissions — just from taking a chance on selling shampoo. ???

She understood that this business model is the way of our future and that this company is special, unlike the rest.

Doubt could have derailed her.

Rejection could have made her quit.

Fear could have stopped her before she even began.

But it didn’t.

For so many, they refuse to go after their dreams because of the FEAR of the unknown. More often than not, they allow the fear of the unknown to rob them from experiencing life’s most amazing things.

Don’t let the fear stop you from living out your dreams. Truth is, the things that we’re most scared about are the ones worth taking a chance on.

I never knew this would be my “job.”
I never knew this is where I would end up.
I never knew that this girl would turn into one of my very best friends.
I never knew joining a direct sales job would turn into my dream job but it has.

The Desert Escape I Needed

No fancy hotel.
No expensive extravagant trip.

Just an old worn down rickety RV parked in the middle of nowhere with huge sand dunes for the kids to slide down — and i wouldn’t want it any other way.

it. was. perfect.

“You will never look back on life and think ‘I spent too much time with my kids.’” Am I right?

I will say, however, after being blown around in the dust for three straight days I was ready for a full spa experience. ?

Came home and did the full works on myself. 30 minute shower, hair washed, deep conditioner treatment, body exfoliated, and legs shaved.

it. was. glorious. ?

I even did the whole shebang on my face and added a hyaluronic face mask to bring back the moisture to my desert dry skin.

Not sure if I was made for the RV life, but making memories with my family and friends is worth it all.

Plus, the kids were in HEAVEN.
